Decentral Games

Background

We now have the ability to easily place and update video, audio, and still image content in several strategic yet non-intrusive locations within the ICE Poker - Stronghold venue, and we plan to add this support to the DEXT Lounge and Chateau Satoshi as well.

ICE Poker currently welcomes 7,000+ metaverse-native daily active users (and counting) across 3 of the top 4 most populated venues in Decentraland, the largest open metaverse platform by DAU and valuation.

Meanwhile, many well-known, established companies have committed considerable resources towards a metaverse/NFT presence for their brand and business.

Proposal

Allow the team to conduct advertising deals where approved partners would be able to place video, audio and/or still image ads within the ICE Poker venues in exchange for stablecoins (USDC, USDT, and/or DAI) to be used for one or more of the following at the DG team’s discretion:

• buy $ICE to burn
• add to ICE-USDC Quickswap LP
• buy $DG

At the end of each month, the DG team would disclose the ad revenue totals and specific allocation of funds towards the items listed above to the community.

Rationale

There lies tremendous untapped value in being one of the most frequented open metaverse destinations and allowing approved partners to pay to target our community of metaverse-native players. There is no other service currently available in the open metaverse that allows the direct targeting of this amount of daily active metaverse users, so there could be a sizable premium big brands are willing to pay.

By launching a strategic metaverse advertising arm, we would be first-movers in the nascent metaverse advertising space, with all value being given back to the community. The advertising revenue would further contribute to the long-term sustainability and growth of the Decentral Games ICE Poker ecosystem.
