Abstract

This proposal seeks to replace the current community-elected member, Felfireferret, from the Safe(Wallet) Multisig and the Snapshot manager role due to misconduct. JRtrades and Cryptohicca, who were the next most-voted community members in the respective original elections, will assume these positions. This change is vital to maintain the integrity of our governance system. Specifically, Felfireferret’s actions in deleting two community proposals without consent, following a personal dispute, have violated the trust placed in him by the community. This BIP proposes the immediate implementation of these replacements.

Motivation

The motivation behind this proposal is to address a serious breach of trust by a community-elected member, Felfireferret. The community depends on its elected representatives to act in the best interest of all members. However, Felfireferret abused his power by deleting two proposals without the community’s knowledge or consent, following a personal vendetta against two members who abstained from voting on his proposal. This action undermines the principles of transparency, fairness, and trust that are central to our governance model. It is crucial to replace him with JRtrades and Cryptohicca, who have been democratically selected by the community, to restore confidence in the governance process.
