Abstract

We propose to transfer ownership of the Buzzed Bears DAO Discord server from @defijesus to @21xHR, the current moderator. This transfer will resolve concerns over centralization and server management. @defijesus will retain a moderator role. Additionally, new moderators can be elected through a Snapshot proposal using quadratic voting, requiring at least 15 voters to reach consensus.

Motivation

Long-standing concerns over the current ownership of BBH assets and centralization risks have been further highlighted by recent events, such as the deletion of the #general channel. The sole moderation responsibility of @21xHR and their history of good behavior justify the transfer of ownership to ensure better server management and decision-making.

Technical Specification ‌

The ownership transfer of the Discord server will be executed through the Discord admin settings. The current server owner, @defijesus will transfer ownership to @21xHR.

The new ownership will be confirmed by @21xHR upon receipt of the transfer request.
