Builder DAO

A summer mural project with the goal of documenting the entire process through photography and videography creating engaging content that can be used for marketing purposes. This means behind-the-scenes footage and time-lapse videos of the mural’s creation.

Vision

The mural will creatively incorporate Builder’s brand symbols and colors in the style of Colombian Street Art designed and painted at a prominent location in the city ensuring visibility for the organization.

Design, Composition, Color

The artwork will show a cool-toned, rainforest-inspired, color palette with multiple focus points incorporating builder design symbols in places like the skyline, the foliage, jaguar, and other elements.

We will use blues and greens as the primary colors within a range of shades to create depth and dimension. Additionally we will incorporate pops of cooler red colors such as violets and magenta to accentuate certain areas as well as contrasting colors like lighter greens and blues to bring vibrancy to the project.

The goal is to create a tasteful and cohesive piece respective of the landscape that takes Builder elements into street art form.

The Artist as Contributor

Murals are a public good and involves artists in the external brand decision-making process. This adds aesthetic value to public spaces and this approach can lead to more imaginative proposals.

Open-process

The documentation of the mural creation process Including behind-the-scenes footage and time-lapse videos will provide your marketing team engaging content to share on social media your website and other on-chain or off-chain marketing channels. By having the documentation there are multiple opportunities created for media distribution through the DAO that can bring funds back to the treasury for example minting the final mural doc video as a Droposal.

Spreading the Builder meme

“Why Bogotá?”. The most transparent answer is “why not?” The proliferation of street art and murals knows no bounds in Bogotá, which has many public spaces open to this form of expression. Additionally, Bogotá has a rapidly growing tech ecosystem, with startups, accelerators, and incubators popping up all over the city to grow the pool of open source contributors to the Builder Ecosystem. When people walk by the picture they might take a picture and show it to their friends on the computer. Then that picture can also start a conversation with people who can learn more about the organization.
