Community Resident/DAO Educator (3mo. extension)

This proposal is for continuation of the BuilderDAO Community Resident (Prof Werder) for January, February and March 2024.

BuilderDAO has continued on a positive trajectory over the past 3 months, with a bit of slow down in energy during the holidays. As we move to the L2 migration period post Bali, some focus will move there. In the next three months, my plan is to:

• Support the Bali launch and L2 migration by working with the techpod and DAO members to ensure a smooth transition and promote the new upgrade to existing DAOs and new opportunities.
• Continue supporting the community via Discord, BuilderDAO channel on Warpcast, Office Hours, DAO meetings and IRL activations.
• Prop House: We’ll have three or four prop houses over the next three months to support the L2 migration effort and seed daos with mini grants. I’ll manage these prop houses from launch, execution and promotion.
• Eth Denver: I am working on an Eth Denver sponsorship of the Farcaster meetup and also am applying for a panel about Nouns Builder. More info to follow in a separate prop once details are confirmed.
• FarCon: plans are in the works for the next FarCon later this year and I am coordinating with the planning team to see how we can support the effort and bring some attention to BuilderDAO and Nouns Builder.
• BuilderBox: we have moved BuilderBox to Unlonely! In order to reach a broader audience, I’ll be streaming BuilderBox every other week on Unlonely and the recording will be released as a bonus episode on the TNS Zero Pod feed. Episode 1 of this effort was completed this past Friday with Chris Carella as the guest. In addition, GM Farcaster has become another media opportunity to reach a new audience and with discussions around Nouns Builder/Purple as part of organic discussions around the Farcaster ecosystem.
• Warpcast channel: I now have the channel lead access for the BuilderDAO channel and have been able to boost casts and hide those that are off topic. This will allow for greater visibility of important casts.
• Token-gated group chats have just launched on Warpcast. I’ll be launching an opt-in chat to allow for another method of contact and communication.
• We’ll be refreshing the current BotFrens content from BuilderDAO and adding to it. This may be in confunction with others who assist in this effort.
• One activation I still need to complete is the onchain DAO games. It is ready to go but requires good timing so I hope to complete this by early March.

A lot of my time is spent chatting in dm’s and one on one to address concerns or ideas and that will continue as well but I am trying to direct those who have questions to join me in office hours whenever possible. As we move into this period after the Bali upgrade, I anticipate more one on one conversations and smaller group discussions will be necessary to facilitate these migrations.
