BIP-18 has four points of interest. First, the BIP proposes to accept the offer from one collector who will acquire between three-to-four artworks for a price of 10ETH per artwork. Second, the BIP proposes that the active rewards portion of proceeds from these sold artworks are spread evenly across Round 10, 11, and 12.

The proposal’s third point establishes a baseline where the DAO are free to consider offers of 10ETH or above on the remaining Genesis artworks held in the DAO treasury, but that there is no obligation or binding commitment to do so without the DAO evaluating its options through a follow-up BIP.

Finally, this proposal stipulates that the DAO must retain 6 artworks held in the DAO treasury. This approximates to 10% of Botto’s Genesis Period supply.

Specifications

1. The DAO accepts the incoming offers of a minimum 10ETH per artwork from the anonymous collector for up to four Genesis artworks.
2. Active rewards generated from the proceeds of these sold artworks will be spread across the revenue redistribution of Round 10, 11, and 12 of the Fragmentation period.
3. Going forward the DAO may accept offers of 10ETH or more on unsold Genesis Artworks but is under no obligation to do so. Subsequent offers will trigger a BIP on how and whether to accept the incoming offers.
4. The DAO must retain 6 Genesis artworks in the DAO treasury. This clause may be revised in a separate BIP.
