Allow Core Contributors to claim up to 25% of their compensation in USDC.
Goal
- Reduce XIO inflation
- Providing some stability to Core contributors
Problem When we launched the Cryptonaut NFT collection in 2021, one of the primary goals of this campaign was (and still is) to collect stablecoins so we could reduce XIO inflation by using USDC instead of XIO for compensation.
With a little more than $600,000 in stablecoins, to ensure a two year runway, we voted to allocate $25,000/month to be used as stablecoins for compensation (instead of XIO).
However, the problem is this $25k does not cover everyone on the Core and deciding who should receive these has been difficult.
