Tarot currently has a proposal up for providing Tarot incentives for its farms (see https://vote.tarot.to/#/proposal/0x5b15bb582bd9342fdf5c5af647ac39eab7f7e52c325d39912ed9a86896566e04).

One of those farms is the Beets-FTM LP available through Spooky. We previously passed BIP-7 and authorized the treasury to seed Beets liquidity in this pool (see https://snapshot.org/#/beets.eth/proposal/0x7e5968a133f31debd4a9e4b5e14ddb44645cbf15fe0164019104f9ad6c925291). The treasury is currently supplying 50,000 Beets and earning supply APRs on them. To further align ourselves with Tarot and ramp up this farm even more (and further ramp up the %APR the treasury gets for supplying its Beets), I propose that we initiate a vote ASAP for the treasury to provide a Beets incentive to those xTarot holders who vote in favor of incentivizing the Beets-FTM LP on Tarot. We can take care of this through an airdrop program similar to what we saw last week with our own dear gauge vote. Even better, with our next gauge vote coming up very soon on BeetX, I have to imagine that passing a proposal like this will only increase the likelihood of Tarot offering a similar incentive for our own dear BeetX gauges.

Note that the Tarot proposal is ongoing and will end on 17th, so there’s no time to waste.

PROS 1 - A Beets incentive increases the likelihood of Tarot rewards being provided to the Beets-FTM LP farm on Tarot

2 - If the Beets incentive works to provide Tarot rewards for the farm, then the extra Tarot rewards will likely further increase the usage of the Tarot farm and are likely to increase even further the Beets reward APRs that the treasury is already receiving for supplying its Beets (and theoretically will work to cancel out any Beets that we use to incentivize the vote)

3 - This proposal will increase the community and collaboration between BeetX and Tarot

4 - This proposal will increase the likelihood of the Tarot community providing a similar incentive for our upcoming gauge vote

CONS 1 - we lose the Tarot reward vote and wind up spending some of the treasury’s Beets without receiving a direct return on investment
