ABSTRACT

AIP ID #420 holds special importance within the crypto industry and the Ape community.

This proposal seeks to temporarily reserve AIP ID #420 to create a meaningful impact for the DAO. The proposal team would collaborate with the community to organize a competition where the winner is awarded AIP ID #420 and an ApeCoin grant.

BENEFIT TO APECOIN ECOSYSTEM

The community engagement resulting from the decision and the decision-making process may enhance cohesion, excitement, and involvement among ApeCoin holders. This proposal would preserve the cultural significance of AIP-420 within the ApeCoin DAO.

OVERALL COST

This proposal requests 420,000 ApeCoin from the DAO’s Ecosystem Fund for the community contest.
The winner of the contest will be awarded with AIP #420 and a reasonable grant not exceeding 420,000 ApeCoin.

TLDR: We want to save AIP ID #420 to help give it a chance to create a meaningful impact for the DAO. The community would have a contest to award the AIP ID #420 along with a grant, this would be the first step to help ensure AIP ID #420 doesn’t end up in the Rejected AIPs folder.

The AIP implementation is administered by the Ape Foundation. Implementation may be immaterially or materially altered to optimise for security, usability, to protect APE holders, and otherwise to effect the intent of the AIP. Any material deviations from an AIP, as initially approved, will be disclosed to the APE holder community.
