ApeCoin

ABSTRACT

The Ape Inn began as a fun idea for an ApeCoin hackathon prize at the EthGlobal Scaling Ethereum event in March, 2023. After a fun and successful event, I was very grateful to receive 2 ApeCoin awards from our wonderful judges, Maaria and Lost.

I was given 1 ApeCoin by Maaria, and invited to join the ApeCoin DAO and submit an AIP. A vibrant community welcomed me at the DAO. A community of artists, creators, builders, gamers and web3 frens from all walks of life.

I’ve been afforded many great opportunities to grow and thrive within the DAO, all with the help of the wonderful ApeCoin community, thank you!

AIP 243: The Ape Inn - EthGlobal Project is an ApeCoin Grant Proposal which aims to bring the concept to life and continue to grow the project with the help of the ApeCoin DAO and community.

BENEFIT TO THE APECOIN ECOSYSTEM

The Ape Inn will be Powered by ApeCoin and aims to create new uses cases for the $APE token. A monthly subscription fee will be offered in ApeCoin for premium content and features, with more coming in phase two of the project.

The project will generate revenue from fees on NFT trades made through the platform. The current NFT API allows us to show certain price data in the token of choice.

We will showcase ApeCoin throughout the platform with options to switch between ETH, WETH and ApeCoin.

OVERALL COST

The ApeCoin Grant will assist in bringing The Ape Inn concept to life and launch us into the next phase. The grant funding of $50 000.00, paid in ApeCoin or APE token please, will be utilised for the startup costs including hosting, Reservoir API fees, marketing, design and development and any other costs associated with The Ape Inn concept.

The AIP implementation is administered by the Ape Foundation. Implementation may be immaterially or materially altered to optimise for security, usability, to protect APE holders, and otherwise to effect the intent of the AIP. Any material deviations from an AIP, as initially approved, will be disclosed to the APE holder community.
