This proposal intends to slightly alter and expand the original Alpha Vaults proposal to allow the core team to launch any strategies as alpha vaults without individual governance approval.

Context

[AIP-47] Alpha Vaults defined the framework for the launch of so called alpha vaults, how they transition to beta vaults and then normal vaults. Please read the corresponding forum post for more details. The initial proposal only secured governance approval for the selected strategies laid out in the AIP.

This proposal seeks governance approval for the core team to launch any new strategies as alpha vaults with the parameters defined in the original AIP:

• Strategy passed an internal review
• A deposit cap of $1M or 300 ETH
• LTV of 50%
• Maximum loss of each strategy of 5 bps (0.05%)
• Repayment & liquidation caps of $100k/60min, unless determined too conservative by core team
• Harvest thresholds of $1k or 1 ETH, unless determined too infrequent by core team/community

For any strategy to transition from the alpha vault status to beta or normal vault, a follow-up governance approval is required.

Voting

Voting is single-choice.

“Approval” allows the Alpha Vaults framework to be changed and the core team to launch alpha vaults at their discretion with the conditions above. “Disapproval” does not allow the current Alpha Vaults framework to be changed.
