Summary

The Gotchi Community is invited to co-host PizzaDAO’s Global Pizza Party on Bitcoin Pizza Day – Thursday May 22, 2025 – in a participating city near you. We’re coordinating with the Gotchi Greetoors to combine efforts and provide aawesome experiences at our global parties and conference side events and asking Aavegotchi DAO to sponsor participating cities to celebrate the anniversary of this monumental Bitcoin transaction.

If you aren’t familiar with PizzaDAO, we’re a global collective focused on using pizza to bring the world onchain. Since 2021, we’ve thrown pizza parties across 100’s of cities, powered by the community, for the community. We’ve collaborated with DAOs, protocols, schools, local businesses, and public goods projects across the ecosystem.

We own “Molto Gotchi” #5421 and vote regularly in the Aavegotchi DAO.

💸 What We’re Asking

Global Pizza Party:

We’re inviting the Aavegotchi DAO to sponsor our upcoming Global Pizza Party on BTC Pizza Day, May 22, 2025.

In return, we’ll bring the Gotchi spirit to events worldwide and report back with impact metrics, user onboarding stats, and photos + videos. We’ll provide any event data to Aavegotchi DAO.

Effect

Bring People Together PizzaDAO brings people together around pizza and we believe Aavegotchi DAO can become a powerful partner in that mission. Let’s feed the people and show them around the Gotchiverse!

Vibes Alignment PizzaDAO and Aavegotchi share a deep love for good vibes, meme culture, and decentralized fun.

End Goal and Benefits

Onboarding Made Delicious We’ve onboarded thousands of people into Web3 through our pizza parties. With your support, we’ll weave Aavegotchi into more of those experiences bringing new users directly into the Gotchiverse, the Aarcade, and the broader community. We will be tracking IRL event participation utilizing POAPs which have many useful metrics.

Expand Aavegotchi’s Reach By teaming up, we can further our relationship and introduce Aavegotchi to global audiences across real-world events, IRL Aactivations, and community-built ecosystems.

Interactive Engagement We’ll work with Aavegotchi Greetoors in participating cities, showcasing Gotchi games and merch as well as running Aarcade setups and themed challenges. Imagine playing mini-games while enjoying slices!

Potential Risks or Unintended Consequences

Aavegotchi doesn’t get any on-chain engagement. People come to the event but don’t sign up, interact, or generally activate with Aavegotchi. We’ll push people at our events toward any specific action the Aavegotchi DAO, Gotchi Greetoors, or Pixel Craft would like to see as the main activations. What helps Aavegtochi will help PizzaDAO and vice versa. This risk is medium.

PizzaDAO misrepresents Aavegotchi and tarnishes their name. The pizza mafia want a long-term, sustainable relationship with Aavegotchi. We pride ourselves in being great hosts and we enjoy bringing attention to our paartners! We will also have the Gotchi Greetoors to keep our Dons in check. This risk is low.
