Summary & Background: In the previous election, three new DAO Foundation Directors were elected. However, a previously serving Director has since stepped down, leaving a vacant position that needs to be filled. This proposal seeks to elect a new Director to replace the recently vacated position. The nominated candidates are:

The nominee with the highest votes will be elected as a new DAO Foundation Director and will begin their term alongside the other newly elected directors in March 2025.

Next-in-Line Succession: With this election reaching quorum, we propose implementing the ‘Next-in-Line Succession’ rule to address future vacancies. In this case, a six-month threshold applies: if a Director vacates their position within this period, the nominee with the next highest votes will automatically replace them. This will become standard procedure upon the passing of this proposal, though different situations may require varying thresholds.

This proposal ensures that the DAO Foundation maintains a full team of directors to carry out its responsibilities effectively. By electing a replacement Director, the DAO can continue its governance and operational duties without disruption.
