We, The Aavegotchi Forge Team, propose a 6 month contracted period of service to the Aavegotchi DAO to continue developing features on the Aavegotchi protocol. We have worked diligently since October to deliver the Forge with intensive ideation, economics development, art creation, DAO navigation, smart contract execution, and user interface work. We have set the stage to continue to build features that will add value to native assets and increase engagement. Over this six month period, we plan to launch at least 4 new features while maintaining and improving the initial Forge launch, economics, and user experience.

A contracted six-month period allows the team to take on multiple projects simultaneously. It also allows our team the ability to provide rolling economic data, maintain and improve the UI, update the Core Framework document, and maximally engage the community. The Forge launch on 2/22 will likely generate enough GHST revenue to have paid for itself, but, more importantly, creates a path towards sustainable revenue without dilution through schematics. It also creates opportunities to create new content that accrues value into our native assets.

• Evolving pets/Upgradeable wearables – obtain upgraded schematics by engagement and through “feeding” tokens or assets to the pet
• Custom backgrounds – Develop a path for the community to design unique backgrounds
• New BRS-modifying slot – Create a new slot, ensure value accrual to native assets, maximize engagement, and provide new metas for future rarity farming iterations
• Schematic sales – Plan for quarterly release of new schematics and maintenance of the Core Framework document. There are no current plans for additional core releases prior to review.
• Other potential ideas that can be pursued: non-brs modifying wearables, “skins” for existing wearables, gems obtained by smelting or from land parcels with boosts.

Forge Team Stipend: For this work, diddly will be hired on as a full time developer and responsible for all technical builds, solidity work and front-end management. This stipend for the Lead Developer role includes pay for extensive work performed in February 2023 to complete the Forge and to build the mobile user interface for a 7 month total stipend vs 6 months for the rest of the team. The three other roles will be part time ~20 hours/week. My role as Lead is detailed in the link below with an expected 25-30 hours/week of work as team lead with overlapping responsibilities in business development and promotion of Forge growth. The 16,000 GHST bounty budget is to maximize external contributions and facilitate open contributions as much as possible.

In summary, we are requesting 236,000 GHST to form a devoted, highly skilled and proven team to continue developing the protocol and product. We strongly believe we will create more value than our asking cost. We look forward to this period of exponential growth and helping the DAO continue its transition through the metamorphosis phase.
