INTRODUCTION

This proposal serves as the election for the DAO Facilitators to implement AGIP 116 (Elected Facilitators for DAO Meetings). These elected Facilitators will be responsible for organizing and hosting the weekly DAO meetings, ensuring productive discussions, and promoting innovation within the community.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Four DAO members will be elected to serve as Facilitators.

Job dimensions as defined in AGIP 116:

Meeting Preparation and Organization:

• Allocate time slots for presentations and discussions.
• Coordinate with DAO members to gather feedback and build agendas.

Facilitation/Moderation:

• Guide discussions towards productive outcomes.
• Ensure active engagement and manage time efficiently.

Decision-Making Support:

• Clarify proposals, their goals, and potential impacts.
• Gather and communicate feedback to forum operators.

Communication and Follow-Up:

• Summarize discussions, decisions, and action items succinctly.
• Monitor progress on agreed-upon tasks.

Conflict Resolution:

• Serve as impartial mediators to resolve disputes during discussions.

Innovation Promotion:

• Encourage exploration of innovative ideas, tools, and practices to improve governance.

Term Length:

• 6 months.

Compensation:

• 500 USD per month per member.
• Total of 2000 USD in GHST for 4 members, paid at the end of each month.

CANDIDATE CRITERIA

Candidates should:

• Be active and contributing members of the DAO.
• Have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Be committed to dedicating the necessary time and effort.
