Introduction

Each Saturday, after the discord Hangout, the community “gets down to business” to discuss changes in the Aavegotchi ecosystem and funding proposals for projects by the DAO treasury, during an hour-long meeting nicknamed “The DAOur.” This proposal aims to continue the role of the DAO Facilitators for another term and elect four Facilitators.

Proposal

We are seeking the DAO’s decision on re-electing the current Facilitators (roxiano, Forin, fase) and adding NoFuturistic to the team. As NoFuturistic is the only additional candidate who has nominated to join, we are proceeding with this proposal instead of holding a full election for the four positions. The current Facilitators have successfully met their responsibilities as outlined in AGIP 116, and with positive feedback from the community, we are excited to continue our work.

The options are as follows:

Option 1: Re-elect the current Facilitators and add NoFuturistic as the fourth Facilitator for a 6 month term. Option 2: Do not continue the DAO Facilitators role for another term.

Compensation and Term Length (if extended): The compensation structure and term length will remain consistent with AGIP 116 at $500/month per member (paid in $GHST) for a six month term.

Role Requirements (revised): Meeting Preparation and Organization: Allocate time slots for presentations and discussions. Build and post agendas in advance that outline the topics of the upcoming DAOur. Upload a recording of the meeting to the AavegotchiDAO youtube.

Facilitation/Moderation of the DAOur: Guide discussions towards productive outcomes. Ensure active engagement and manage time efficiently. Summarize discussions, decisions, and action items succinctly. Serve impartially during conflict, and limit strong personal opinions about topics of discussion on the stage. Encourage exploration of innovative ideas, tools, and practices to improve DAO governance.

Collaboration and Commitment: Work closely together as a team to ensure equal and fair contribution. Actively and consistently guide the meetings assigned and volunteered for. Communicate with team members if an unforeseen circumstance arises.

If a DAO Facilitator fails to properly fulfill his/her role, the other facilitators and DAO members reserve the right to terminate said facilitator with a majority vote. If a DAO Facilitator is uncontactable (AFK) for 1 full calendar month, payment will be automatically suspended.
